Alabama was named. So will the trustees shut down. UAH or UAB in response?

Just Imagine when they go after the football programm ,,,,,the sec will become the swac
The sweetest justice would be to see those 100000 seat stadiums shuttered on a football Saturday while the entire SEC is given the death penalty.

And we all know it won't happen, but for this first go around and before the schools can start real damage control; the NCAA needs to deny every one of these teams entry into a post season tournament, including conference tournaments. Or if the conference says the team can play, then pull the conference's auto-bid.
Then I might think the NCAA is considering growing a set of balls.

& one would think that our sister school would sit out their star player until they find something else out otherwise on his eligibility.
One also would think that our local sports media would take several steps back and not put these other 2 programs on a pedestal while both are under investigation.

I believe the NCAA has the same kind of relationship with the top P5 powers that UAB has with the UA System BOT. The NCAA is a private club run by the university's through Presidents and their staffs. That is why they can only punish members - the universities, not their employees or athletes. When Bruce Pearl offended the NCAA by telling them lies, all they could do was to tell schools they had to "show cause" if he was to be hired. They had no authority over him directly as a coach. Coaches are not "club members".
It is why universities are punished in the present for transgressions by coaches, boosters and athletes in the past. Those people are not under NCAA authority.

Per that ESPN article: "If Miller is fired for cause, his contract is written in such a way that he would still receive more than 85 percent of the money he is owed through May 31, 2022."
Pitino wishes he had Miller's agent.

The bammers say they are in the clear because according to them, the only thing that Collin Sexton received was a free meal.

I was wondering the same thing about Rob Brown, who we lost to Wichita State over the Summer. HCRE was holding onto the last scholarship for him.
