He didn't say conference rivals, he said 3 permanent rivals.

Oklahoma:

From the current Big 12: Texas and Oklahoma State. Kansas would probably be third, and would definitely be on the list in basketball. They're not competitive in football, but we've played them longer than anyone else. Since 1903, we've only not played them when the B12 was split into divisions and we played two out of every four years.

If Nebraska were ever to return (very, very doubtful), put them on the list.

AAC: Memphis, ECU, USF
OOC: Georgia Tech, Arizona State, Miami

Reasons on the OOC:

Georgia Tech - Atlanta is a key recruiting location for us. Although UCF has expanded beyond its mission as Florida Tech, we are still a business & engineering school at our core. GT is an aspirational peer as an elite, urban engineering & business institution.

Arizona State - Battle of the biggest enrollments, plus who doesn't want to go to Phoenix regularly and see the ASU co-eds?

Miami - Pretty self-explanatory. Ought to be on Thanksgiving Saturday along with UF-FSU.

OK - if it is just in conference rivals, I would go with Houston, Tulsa, and Navy (though Tulane would be close to Navy)

Kentucky:

In conference - Tennessee, South Carolina, Georgia

Out of conference - Louisville, Indiana, West Virginia

Would love to have Ohio State but would understand if they did not want to reciprocate.

For Georgetown: Maryland, Syracuse, and Virginia.
What they have right now in football: None of the above.

For UGA- Auburn, Florida, and the hell with GA Tech.

For Abilene Christian in the new WAC- Tarleton, Stephen F Austin, Sam Houston (football), and maybe Grand Canyon (other sports).

For Louisville:

In Conference: Virginia Tech, Florida State, Georgia Tech

Illinois: Our only trophy game and way back, it was actually the season ending game. Most people (including Buckeye fans) don't know the history, but there is a lot of it even if it has been awhile.
Penn State: I am very torn between Wisconsin and Penn State and actually probably leaned a bit more to Wisconsin, but this is accepting reality (Wisconsin would be tied to their western rivals and Penn State is not losing yearly status). Feel like this game should be in late October most years (seems fitting as one of the final outdoor night games for the year).

Penn St:

B1G: Michigan, Illinois, Ohio St

OOC: Pitt, Temple, West Virginia
