Rice, up 19-14, just completed a 39-yard pass play. Another impressive drive for the Owls.

SMU scores and goes ahead of Maryland, 27-20.

Win or lose, the AAC 2.0 teams are playing well vs. P5 teams today

It's the best day of the season for AAC to date, no doubt about it.

Rice scores again, now up 33-21 with 3 min. to go in the game. They may be a team to be reckoned with. They certainly look like a bowl team today.

Future AAC reminded the Fun Belt who was daddy today. Absolutely hilarious.

Yes… all around great showing. Even the much criticized Charlotte and Rice teams are handling business versus the other conference.

Funny how things can change in a week. Maybe they'll stay away this week. Sure we won't need to go to their board

RE: GENERAL FOOTBALL DISCUSSION - AAC AND C-USA6 TEAMS
Good day for the AAC and CUSA6 overall. Not every team won, but they tended to play well, and often outperformed expectations.

USF nearly sent their game into OT, but missed a last minute FG vs. a ranked Florida team. Amazing!

UTSA played Texas to a draw in the first half, and FAU hung tough with UCF for the first half of their game.

Temple only lost by 2 points to Rutgers, and generally outplayed them.

Tulane beat Kansas State.

ECU and Tulsa annihilated their opponents.

Rice beat Louisiana, which was ranked the past two seasons.

Memphis beat Arkansas State, and UAB beat GA Southern.

Quite a good day for the AAC 1.0 and 2.0, overall.

The only teams that didn't impress much (or at all) were the three that are leaving the conference next season.

Yep - they may have been overconfident this week. Even Appalachian needed a last-second hail Mary play to beat their FCS opponent, on their home field.

Bowling Green takes down Marshall. Couldn't help but chuckle when the BGSU students stormed the field after the game. I guess the Huntington diick swinging from last week has been zipped up.

Nice win from UAB too.

Wow - I thought Marshall must be really good. Now, I'm starting to think that Notre Dame must be really mediocre, or in some kind of a funk.

Ok it was a good day for AAC and a bad day for the Belt but that claim is false.

Although if you meant it as a joke it’s pretty hilarious 03-wink
