No current AAC teams are in the AP top 25 or receiving votes.

No former AAC teams are in the AP Top Ten. (UConn-11 and Louisville-22 are both down from last season)

Tulsa and UNT are the only two teams with significant positive movement in the Massey Ratings. Everyone else is flat or down this week.

UTSA has since jumped 16 places to #137 after beating UTEP 90-66. We’ve been without our best player all year so far (C-USA POY Jordyn Jenkins). Otherwise we’re likely 7-1 right now instead of 5-3.

USF destroyed Gardner Webb 105-75 to move to 7-3. It was our first game with our leading scorer back in the line up. She scored 21 pts in this game

Well didn’t last long our scoring leader that had been out all season and just played last game injured her left knee in practice today @nd will miss season. Without her USF won’t be competitive with top teams. The conference is wide open

UTSA lost 66-64 to 8-1 Houston. That’s another game we would’ve won if last year’s C-USA POY were healthy. She tore her ACL before the season started btw. Not sure whether we should just redshirt her this year or try to bring her back late in the season. No doubt in my mind we’re at least 8-1 right now with her playing. The only game we lost that wasn’t by 5 points or less was at Arizona State.

Hah, maybe we should hire her for our men’s program. Has a woman ever coached college guys? Sure are plenty of guys coaching women’s basketball.

The FAU Owls (5-5) picked up their biggest win of the season so far, defeating previously unbeaten UCF (8-1) on the road Monday, 59-58

Tulsa with a nice win as well, knocking off an undefeated Texas Tech team on the road. I think they and UNT might be the league favorites in my eyes now. Rice, USF and ECU maybe in the next group behind them, although there is a lot of parity.
