Yeah, agree that it's a tough loss. Although unless the dreaded portal rears its head, I assume he figures he's stuck behind Buckley for essentially 3+ more years, and you've got King back this season. Probably wants to be at a school where he's the one key guy instead of being the second part of that 1-2 punch.

One pass attempt for his career complete for 8 yards on a fake punt, apparently. But he was fairly highly regarded as a recruit and has 4 years left of eligibility so could be a good pickup.

Let's hope he's like Richard Ash. A talented guy who just needs an "every down" chance. Worst case is he is an experienced guy who adds needed depth.

I watched some HS video of the QB. Looks like a tough, tough kid that can really run the ball too. I suspect there was/is a connection with our new OC (Walt Bell) who was at IU when the kid was recruited…I think.
