I actually don’t think Penny will mind being let go. He misses the golf course.

That was my worry from the start. He didn’t need the job. He just took it for the good of the program and for his friend that died of cancer. You need a coach that can’t do without a job. I question how much time he actually puts in. I’ve heard rumors about showing up late for practice and meetings. I dismissed them at first, but now I have to wonder

Look at the roster. Virtually no one will be back next year. There is nothing to indicate next year will be even this good.

No turning here. I was against this hire from Day 1, for several reasons. The current situation being the biggest one. If Penny fails and doesn't walk away, this could get REAL ugly and set us back so far, that we'll be clamoring for the Pastner Glory Days.
