Line is FAU by 7.5
My line shows FAU by 2
BUT with a home court kicker of 3, it looks like FAU by 5.
BUT that again is based upon ALL season data. If the better Memphis team shows up I'm looking at Memphis by 4.
BUT FAU still has the chance to make it a crazy blowout if our guys don't show up to take it to the Owls.

FAU has one of the weakest home court advantages in college basketball (ranked #222). So hopefully we can use that to our advantage.

Jones is neck and neck with Goldin (FAU) as best offensive player
Joe Cooper is now #2 as American's best newcomber

Keys:
1 - Share the ball
2 - Protect the ball
3 - Rebounding (by committee and Walton)
4 - Aggressive D (especially on the perimeter)
5 - Attack the basket and cause FAU foul trouble
6 - No dumb fouls

I'm looking forward to a great game and a hard fought game. And I'm also anticipating a lot of subs in the first half like the last game to save Tomlin from fouling out too early so he's available for most of the second half. Just got to keep it close in the first half.

Imho, this game is everything. Last week's amazing comeback W over UAB, took us from the outhouse toilet to back on the bubble. 22Ws 8 Ls ---
That is vs. Teams such as UVa, Clemson , Texas A/M, Mizzou, Hogs, SMU, Michigan, Ole Miss, FAU and others. Normally, we would be squarely on the good side of the bubble right now.
But, this year's new NET ranking has us at 71 despite this good record. We know in some ways, we deserve it. We started 15-2, riding high. Then, we hit a slump which lasted too long. When we play bed , it looks bad. Rice, Nova, Tulane etc.
With a W this game, this puts us at 2-0 vs FAU. They are a helluva team now. They were a 2023 Final Four team.
This W would save the season! Go Tigers!!!!!!!

This game is big, I agree. But both teams have too many bad stumbles to even matter now, Tigers more so than FAU. It's tournament champs or bust, IMO.

FAU is going to feed Goldin until we start doubling him. So far it looks like we are not going to foul him in order to keep the fouls down.
