Please be first to donate the first million in costs to do what you propose. It's always nice to know that people who have no connection to what others may do, have all the answers.

So we can't ask questions if we don't have millions of dollars??? Maybe that explains emu's issues...

Dear MidnightBlueGold,
Your misdirection, without giving a response to what actual costs would be for your proposal, is typical of people who know they have very little to stand on. Eastern has no issues with the stadium.

Ok, kenny. Still doesn't take away from the fact that removing the track does nothing.

Imagine, if you will, that it was because it's just a six lane track, and the track & field program deserves an improved, dedicated facility?

I mean, I've heard a rumor that if you just go to the EMU track facility project page, you can see the facility they are proposing to replace the existing track, and that they've already raised over $3m, which is over half of their donation target.

RE: EMU to begin removing track at Rynearson Stadium next week
I think it will look better on TV and be slightly more safe when players run past the 5 feet of turf onto the track. One year we scored like 50something up there and slipped on the track a couple times.

Fix the toilets and concession mile walk while you're at it. EMU draws okay but yields a bad home environment because away fans get their fans to themselves and the EMU fans can't generate much noise so far and elevated off the field. They draw middle of the pack now too, so I can't even ding what they've built under Creighton. One of the cooler places to go as a visitor but it doesn't do much to help the Eagles win.

Dear UofToledoFans,
Eastern fans are happy with Rynearson. Certain things could be improved, and maybe they will. Football is a rough sport, so slipping, and or falling, off the playing surface should not hurt the individual.
Sorry you have to sit with your own fans.

Ah, so 2nd paragraph of a three paragraph post is burying the lede, I'll edit it to fix that.
