In the market at the moment you have

3DS and 3DSXL... aside from the screen they are the same machine.

From what I can gather, you can only get the normal size screen with bundles like that Pokemon or AC game. However, the XL in that line can be bought separately or with game bundles.

I have the N3DSXL and I like

Larger screen--had old 3DS and while this is larger it doesn't feel too much larger as long as you get a slim line case.

The improved 3D processing over the older model is amazing--I've been going back and playing some of my older titles in 3D because its easier to view on the eyes.
