I played for 3-4 hours and it exceeded my tapered expectations. I can't see it getting repetitive, at least for a while. Once you figure out what you need to do and what you need to mine, it gets addicting. I discovered 6 or 7 planets, and there's 1 in particular that I like best and keep going back to as it has the most resources and is the least threatening. I stopped once I got my hyper drive repaired, and I assume the next thing will be to zoom off to another galaxy/closer to the "center" of the universe, but I'm hesitant to do so. Feels like I need to better prepare and upgrade everything I can while I can, otherwise I'll be screwed once I arrive to wherever it is I'm going.

Fun. Highly recommended.

Gamestop had a Monday night release of the game, so I went there. Haven't been able to play it as much as I have wanted to but wow. You're right about it not getting repetitive at all, there is so much to do.

I've died twice already, once because I fought a sentinal when I mined too much stuff for their liking (yes, mining too much materials will piss them off) and again because I decided I'd attack a space station....03-lmfao

This game is incredibly fun.

I found that you can mine to your hearts content so long as you stop when the Sentinels scan you. Then you can just go back on your merry way.

I've got one more animal on the 4th planet of my home system (paradise classification) before I've got them all there. I gave up on the first three worlds because they were basically desolate wastelands, but this one is a green grass planet with oceans, mountains, and purple trees...pretty friggin awesome.
