I don't really care for Halo Wars, but just because there are set, fixed building locations. No real room for base strategy.

I even dabbled in Tom Clancy's "End War"... it had a lot of potential. Not my typical cup of tea, but it was a lot of fun.

Wasn't RUSE the one that you have to have a microphone to yell at your units? Whatever game that was, was absolutely ridiculous.

I love me some RTS, but I feel like for the most part the user interface issues when it comes to consoles (lack of multiple buttons for hotkeying, no dual hand direction ability, etc.) don't really allow for active RTS's to be conducive to a port...and with all the AAA budget money going to "name your open world shooter game", there isn't a huge market share. There are some great RTS games on Steam Greenlight, or whatever they're calling it now...and I still play the hell out of Red Alert and Company of Heroes.

Haha no no, that was Tom Clancy's End War... it was crazy. Pretty neat concept, but it was maddening at times.

Ruse is much more like your Command & Conquer games.

I understand the arguments against RTS on console, but I can get around not hotkeying... and if NOBODY is allowed to do it, it evens the playing field a little more. A few of the console RTS games have alternatives to hotkeying.
