I have almost the exact same experience. Beat it over spring break with everything done except the markerless quests. And I've come to almost the exact same conclusion: it's a brilliant game that may have some rough edges, but a wonderful heart.

All they've got to do is give me my Quarians, and I'll be a VERY happy camper.

The Quarian Ark is absolutely going to be DLC. I love games that make you wish you were there after you're done and seriously make you miss the experience, and this one did just that... just like the original trilogy. One thing is for sure, even though I'll be well into my 30's, I'll be patiently waiting the next foray into that universe (I guess we can't say galaxy anymore). My brother and i always talk about games that we will make sure we keep for our kids, and the entire ME experience is definitely one of those things.

They may save it for the second game. Which, I will admit, their blatant sequel set-up through SAM pissed me off because I finished those missions WAAAAAAAAAAAAY too early, so that cliffhanger came quick and hard.

And saving games is one thing I wish I'd done when I was younger. I've got to reacquire my favorite PS2 games and a PS2 now. I've been craving Kingdom Hearts 1, Jak and Daxter, the Ratchet and Clank games, and NCAA Baseball.

For sure...I went back and got the KH games on PS2 back in college because some fraternity Brothers didn't believe me that it was a great game (insanely frustrating camera be damned). Definitely a good investment, even though the remaster barrage will probably make it possible for the classics to pop up on every generation back into my entry (SNES was the first one i got a ton of play on in the early 90's).

As far as the sequel set up, I get it. It's frustrating to have so many loose threads with a 60 hour play time...but they are setting up an entire galaxy here lol. The story/lore they were able to build was good (albeit not nearly as substantial as ME1, which is understandable). I'm really interested in the Jaardan/mysterious enemy stuff and if there will be any more tieback to the original galaxy in the next games on top of the audio logs. I'm right there with you on completions though, i got those dates clusters and 100% viability before the final location was even brought up, so that confused me a bit haha. I think they planned that for post-game because normal gamers don't go after completion type stuff before the main questline and we just kind of went out of order,

I'll admit, I'd have preferred more games in the Mass Effect Milky Way. But I loved Andromeda, so I'll buy the sequel.

And I'm an Xbox guy, so between the original J&D, R&C, the original SOCOM, and the NCAA Baseball game, I'll be seeking a PS2 even though most of those have been remade all to hell. Shame NCAA Baseball never will be.
