I really think that the NIT should follow the WNIT format and go to 64 teams, and maybe eliminate the CIT or CBI. If you give every conference an automatic bid like in the WNIT, it would eliminate some of the anti mid-major BS that goes on.
It's the first time since 1999-2000 that the CAA has only one team in the postseason.
I think the NIT, CIT, and CBI are made by competing organizations, so don't expect any of them to go away.
