Ole Miss were the Rebels before UNLV was even FOUNDED.
That one was a tad bit over the line DrTorch.

Flamer boy, you might just be the most ignorant, pathetic poster I've ever had the misfortune to come across. Please continue your brilliant show of dumbassity, this is hilarious.

Geez, they even bite when it's spelled out for them.
Yeah, it's my dumbassity that's showing now. :roflol:

Shutting up would merely lead to more chest-pounding in a pitiful display to get someone to notice your beloved conference.
The choice each poster must make is: "would I rather hear him talk about bait" or "would I rather him talk about how he shut down all naysayers." Considering the fact you haven't the grounds to shut down anyone, most are choosing the former.

You can just ignore the bait...unless you're too stupid to know it's bait. But gee, isn't that the obvious thing about bait?
Frankly cant_think, it's better to laugh at the gullible, than to spell "*****" like it's polysyllabic, and then delude yourself into believing you put someone down. Maybe that's how they do it in the trailer parks of E. Georgia, but it's comical for everyone else.
So in the end, what we see is 10man and RebelKev either being manipulated into posting by every obvious piece of provocation, OR bragging up the teams they allegedly hate as rivals, because they admit their own team sucks, yet they are bitter and envious of successful teams.
Does that pretty much sum it up?

People, this:
Quote:By That idiot Torch: Go back to your sorry-****** SECond rate conference. Your tiny little school can't compete.
:stupid:
Is all you need to NOT take this dumb*** serious. They have one good year and they think that gives them the RIGHT to talk ****** about a conference AND team with the history we have? Please, give me a ****ing break.

Hey, Psycho, I haven't BRAGGED about Ole Miss's season this year. You show how much of a ****ing dumb*** you are by bragging about the MAC, IN their first ****ing good year. Come back and talk to us in 30 years.
Tennessee, UGA, LSU, Arkansas, and Florida would wipe the floor with the MAC. Ole Miss is having a VERY bad season and you have heard NO ****ING BODY brag about beating Vandy. You really want to go back to ****** talking? I've already smacked your pathetic ****** around once, I will be MORE than happy to do it again.

Another thing that makes you an idiot:
You actually think SOS can be ascertained by OOC games, so, using your logic, a team could have a schedule like this (With proper realigning):
In Conference
Miami
FSU
UF
VT
UGA
LSU
UArk
UT
Out of Conference
Baylor
Vandy
East Carolina
Army
hmm, that would be a weak schedule, huh?

Alabama had the strongest schedule:
In Conference:
Kentucky
Arkansas
Georgia
Mississippi
Tennessee
Mississippi St.
LSU
Auburn
OOC
Hawaii
South Florida
Oklahoma
Southern Miss
Northern Illinois
Oklahoma aside, I guess Bama had a weak schedule.

Torchie, all you summed up is you clearly didn't read my post. So here's the main idea of it once again:

Geez can't think, must you always live up to your moniker?
Obviously I'm not going to talk about bait unless people are biting.

Yeah, bring'em back up. It was laughable because it actually proved YOU to be a dumb***. Like I said, I am FROM Augusta, Ga and know damn well Augusta isn't the capital. Bring it back up moron.
BTW, are you a guy or a girl. If you are a guy, you might want to change that saying under your avatar. It makes you look like a peter-puffer.......or.........hmmm......makes one think.

Why does DrTorch call people stupid when he can't even spell the word dumb? Seems a little strange to me.

Wiping the floor is subject to some interpretation.
But I'm not sure a ten point loss at Tennessee amounts to being wiped on a floor. That's what Marshall did at Tennessee, despite losing its starting quarterback in that game.
Florida can only wish it played Tennessee as tough as Marshall did.

Arkansas beat Texas by 10. Nobody will contest the fact the Hogs wiped the floor with the Horns.

10MAN Wrote:rocketfootball Wrote:Mississippi sucks! They would finish in like 5th place in the MAC.
I think you are confusing Ole Miss with Mississippi State. It's ok, a lot of ignorant people get us confused. Ole Miss would own the MAC, and so would probably Vandy. Luckily, Ole Miss won't have to lower themselves to join that little conference, so we may never know.
But, I never claimed Ole Miss to be a powerhouse, and I certainly don't get on the sports bar and thump my chest after a big win. That's what guys with "little big man syndrome" do. They scream for respect. Respect is earned, not forced upon.
Your conference had a banner day, I admitted that, and the polls will certainly acknowledge that, too. But, after all is said and done, the MAC is still the MAC, and we will see how the polls finish at the end of the year. One day does not all of a sudden make you a scary conference.
Hey put your money where your mouth is, and come into MAC country on a 1 for 1 deal (and I don't mean E. Michigan or Buffalo, The bottom half of our conference is really bad. I will concede that much). Remember you still have to play game against one of those MAC victims (Alabama). I've looked at who Ole Miss has played this year and havn't been impressed. Until you play someone without being forced (i.e. a conference game) your program has no room to talk. The one Mississippi loss came to anoter 2-1 team that has a less than impressive schedule defeating a 1-AA team and losingto another team from Mississippi (S. Miss., probabaly the best FB in the state of Mississippi) who edged out UAB and lost to Cal(1-3) managing only a safety. One of the best quotes that I saw all week was one that commented on how if the SEC beat 3 ranked teams with 2 top ten teams they would be singing their own praises, assumung they would sceduled 3 top 25 teams. If the SEC or any BCS conference scheduled like the MAC's top half then they would be unable to field all their bowl committments. The polls have considerable problems considering that they show human bias (ex. Bowling Green is 3-1 with the loss to Ohio St. 17-24 and a win over Purdue who is ranked (the other BG wins were 2 1-AA teams for a combined 109 pt. margin of victory. Actually looks like K-state scheduling except for the 2 Big 10 teams). Purdue is 2-1 beating Wake and Arizona. Yet BG is unranked. On a side note I think the only reason the SEC keeps Vandy is so that when the rest of the conference is on probation then they still have the BCS covered.
