In a surprising twist, SMU knocks off #4 Alabama in Dallas, 17-7. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come next season. My QB didnt suck as much as usual, and my defense came to play today.

Sheesh, I hope I make a killing in offseason recruiting because I only signed three players so far. Granted, they are all 4 stars and will make an immediate impact, but if I don't have players it won't matter how good they are.

Well I must tip my hat to USM, they came to play today. Sorry everyone in the west, I couldnt win the conference for us! Turnovers were the big problem for Houston. Started off good on the first drive and drove down the field, only for my RB to rarely fumble the ball on the 12 yard line. Then next time we touched the ball my QB threw a bad pass and USM made me pay.Who would have thought it would be a USM lead with 3-0 at halftime, especially the way both us typically light up the scoreboard. In the second half we got the ball and went down to take a 7-3 lead. Unfortunately I was unable to stop USM and they took a 10-7 lead. On the next drive my QB threw another bad pass and it was intercepted. USM went down and scored to make it 17-7, and there was just not enough time for me to come back. I was able to get a quick TD to pull within 3, but on a big 3rd down, I was unbale to stop his running game. I did have a chance at one point, but he stop me on a 4th and 1, and that was it, time for USM to knee out the clock. I was unable to get any turnovers, even though it seemed like the Houston defense dropped like 4 or 5 interceptions. Well on to play in a sucky bowl, and at least this big season has given me 10 4 star an 4 3 star recruits to build on for next year.

Good recap bueck. Funny thing is on 3 different occassions I was sitting there yelling at my guys because I thought they were just not gonna make the big play to put the game away. My WR dropped a TD in the 1st half, my TE dropped a TD in the 2nd half, and I had a couple of dropped picks. All of these happened at what I thought were critical moments in the game that could have given me a cussion or even put the game away. Anyway, when I least expected it the defense held on a 4th and 1 which in my mind was the play of the game. Finally someone stepped up and made a play when it was needed. It was a huge win for me, because I was so dumbfounded after our previous meeting and didnt really think I could beat bueck. It was a tremendous season for USM and with all of the talent returning it should be another good one next year. Great game Houston!

For the 4th straight year my bowl game is a rematch of of a game I played in the regular season. For the 4th straight year, the rematch ends with the same result as the first game....a win. 14-10 and they had scored on their first two possessions, pick 6 21-10 and that was that Held them on downs to star the second half and scored ahain. Once the threat of the run was gone I could pin my ears back and come at them. Final score Memphis 35 BYU 10. 11-2 on the year. Great year but I
m not satisfied since I can't seem to get that damn Southern Miss monkey off my back.

My game went easier then what the score was. My team totally dominated the game. I went up 35-7 after getting the ball back at halftime. And to be honest, I didn't feel like playing no more, so I simulated the rest of the game and Kentucky scored 21 unanswered points on my team. So I guess my team isn't as good as I thought they were, because Kentucky sucked. Hopefully I can steal a couple more good recruits this offseason.

SMU finishes the season with a 21-0 win over Arkansas State in the New Orleans Bowl. We finally had our stud Freshman RB back from his torn shoulder, and he goes for 149 yards on 20 carries. The defense was able to hold A-State to only 219 yards. Hopefully we can use this 2 game winning streak to have some positive momentum going into next year!

C-USA finishes with 4 teams in the Top 25! Maybe we can get our conference prestige up some to help with recruiting now!

With most of us getting looks from 4 star recruits(and signing a few) I think the prestige is looking good!

LOL!!! Next year will be a bad for me, since it will be autoplioted majority of the season, so Memphis, don't beat me up too bad!

Punk. The 4 star TE that had me 1st on his list dropped me to second. Your loss buddy, Memphis is going places, as it stands, team #1 on your list won't be doing much...FAIL

Houston started off the season on a good note today, by going into Austin and dominating Texas. They tried to keep it close but, my defense kicked in during the 4th QTR and pulled out 2 INT's. I can already see my QBshould put up big numbers and my RB hasn't skipped a beat. First play of the game my RB ran for 60 yards , and shortly after that we scored to go up 7-0. Texas never or was even tied from that point on. Next up is Baylor, if I can get it in tomorrow morning, that would be great. Recruiting started off with a signing of a 4 star ATH. Hopefully I can repeat last years great recruiting class.

Bye week for SMU this week... but in other news... on my regular Dynasty, I finally got Memphis into the SEC! We replaced Mississippi State

Speakig of Memphis, beat Missouri. turned the ball over twice in the first half and on the ensuing defensive series, I forced a turnover of my own after each turnover so they never cost me, went to halftime 14-14. Second half I went up 28-14 late in the game. I couldn't get a first down trying to run the clock out and turned it over to them, they scored and then recovered the onside kick. So her I am thinkin OT right? NOT! Got a pick 6 to seal the win, 35-21. I was able to play my base defense much of the game and played admirably IMO.

In recruiting news, I got a 4 star Safety and Corner to sign with my the very first week!
