I was thinking it was that group of women at first but doesn't appear to be based on the sneak peek.

Posted from mobile device. Hopefully it's coherent.

It's definitely a new group but they are not in the comics so who knows whats going to happen with them. I think Rick was smiling at the end because he saw how many people they had and knew they could help with the Saviors. All of them were young and looked pretty capable of fighting.

That or he saw a familiar face in the crowd. I was kicking around both thoughts.

Based on the cast I think those boots are going to show themselves and we're going to have our inside man to the Saviors.

I thought this was the garbage pail kids from the comics.

RE: OT: The Walking Dead [Warning: Spoilers]
this show has jumped the shark. And did so the first half of season 7.
i had to watch sunday's episode in two shifts, because it couldn't hold my attention for an hour plus.

It's not even about surviving a zombie apocalypse anymore. it's become a prime time soap opera.

I'll still watch because I've invested 7 seasons in it and you have to see these things through to the end. But it's no longer must see tv.

I disagree but only because I've stopped watching live. I DVR it now and cut through all the commercials. Makes it a lot more bearable.

I haven't watched a scripted show live on ad-supported channels since the advent of DVRs. Who wants to watch commercials? If the show is just starting, I'll find something constructive to do for at least 15 minutes before I start watching a one hour show.

I'll watch GoT live because it has no commercials.

What's wrong with soap operas? Real life is a soap opera. A good reason to not watch a show is because it's poorly written, poorly acted, and/or poorly made. Or not of interest to you.

In a zombie apocalypse, there has to come a time when other humans become more of a threat than the zombies. Both stories interest me if well done.

It's been a while since I read this arc but what "garbage pail kids?"

How does a show about Zombies jump the shark? A show about Zombies is in essence jumping the shark to begin with.

Just enjoy it.

Solid set up episode. It's going to be a fun half of a season.

I think I want Gregory killed more than Negan. At least Negan is entertaining. F*** Gregory.

Agreed, Gregory is the villain now more than Negan to me just because he's a whiny douche. I really hope they take him out in a epic satisfying moment. Also for the Walking Dead people who like Grand Theft Auto, I just realized that Negan's right hand man is the voice of Trevor on GTA 5.

As soon as he showed up I was like ' is that Trevor Phillips?' Dude is pretty consistent with his characters.

Except Gregory's argument is valid. They didn't deliver what they promised (shut down the Saviors) and have now put his community in jeopardy.

That's the problem with this show. The bad guys all make sense. Even Negan, while over the top was justified in his attack, since Rick's gang struck first.

I know it's awesome. It makes you hate them even more. Stop being logical while screwing with the original characters!
