RE: OT: The Walking Dead
I just had a thought:

In the previews for next week's episode, it shows Rick picking up an ax and running away from the group, possibly into the prison. What if he is going in there to see his wife's remains, only to find out that Carl did not "do the job"? She bites him and then he has to cut off his own hand after she bites him?

He might be going in to "re-kill" her if he finds out Carl didn't shoot her in the head.

More than likely he's about to go on a rampage and clear out the rest of the prison in berserk mode.

Still the best FPS ever. I love the hell out of the classic Doom games.

I was always partial to Wolfenstein myself.

I don't think I could choose between those 2. At work during the holidays when its slow we bust out the classics and go at it. We do it on our vlan as to not mess anything up for our production users... geek perks. =] We will play Wolfenstein, Duke Nukem, Doom, QWTF, CS1.6 etc. Good times.

they took one of the most innovative books of the last decade and apparently turned it into 2012 starring Brad Pitt.

Duke Nuken was pretty good too. TBH, I have really played FPS since the days of Doom, Nukem, and Wolfenstein.

WWZ was one of the better books of read in recent memory... or, should I say "more enjoyable books" I've read. Seriously: it's a good book that even non-zombie fans will like.

The Day By Day Armageddon series is awesome, too.

I pray that they will not ruin the WWZ story... but they probably will. 03-banghead

Isn't Pitt's character from the books relatively minor to the story?

Either way, I like how immense they are making this seem.

I believe he is playing the UN official who goes around interviewing the survivors. However, that role in the movie looks like he actually experiencing what they tell him. Is he a minor character in the book? I guess so since technically he never speaks in the entire book.

I would put my money on this: it's Carol, calling from somewhere within the prison. Either she's the one whose calling or she has been turned into a zombie just like her daughter.

Rick needs to turn over leadership of the group to Daryl or Herschel. He's left this world, at least for now...

Did I miss something, because why is Carol assumed to be dead? Why aren't they even looking for her?

She was with t-dog. He held off some zombies so she could escape but never saw what happened to her.

To the other post above,
Good thoughts the mystery caller being her. Very interesting.

Well it has to be someone in the group because in the preview of the next episode you hear Rick say, "Lori's dead"...... so it has to be someone who knew her, I'm putting money on Carol.
