So glad this show is back. Since Dexter wrapped, I didn't have anything to watch on Sunday nights.

Glenn will probably stay alive in the show unless the actor decides to leave.

Idk the way this show is they do not have a problem killing ppl off. It helps keep the show fresh & interesting cause everyone is on the choping block.

True buy you've already lost the Sophia/Carl story arch apparently in the comics so you need to counteract that with Maggie/Glenn going longer right?

Not to mention he's a main character on the good moral. Thus far we've only lost two from that pool in the form of Dale and T-dog (Lori I have tagged as a tweener/neutral moral person and Season 1 deaths I can't really count as we didn't know much about them)

SPOILER ALERT:

In the comic's most recent issue, Glenn in killed by a character named "Neegan". Truthfully, I'm looking forward to his character more than I was that of the Governor's.

Since the show takes a different path from that of the comic's, I do not see Glenn biting it until towards the end of the series, if he bites it at all. I think that it would be more dramatic for Maggie to die first, followed by Glenn's death while he seeks revenge for her murder.

This show is great! I don't think we will see it end for at least another 5 seasons or so and when we do, I could envision an ending where we simply watched as "Rick and Carl walk down an empty street" or something like that...

If they run this show for another five years, which I hope they do, they are going to be able to throw some real additional curve balls into the plot.

(By the way, does anyone know why I keep unclicking signature pictures block and my old pictures keep popping up? Something to do with the new skin changes maybe. Got a new computer with Windows 8 a few days ago, not sure that is related.)

I don't think Glenn goes in the show. It may be one of the indirect reasons the show runner resigned. He wanted to be as true to the comics as he could in his short time.

So glad I finally have something to watch on Sunday nights now that football is over. Has anyone been watching The Americans on FX? I haven't gotten to watch it yet but it seems interesting.

I have. It's interesting but has slow pacing imo which may hinder it's ratings

Of course it's a ratings move (TD was receiving ~1.0-1.5 demo rating at 11pm when it could get a much better rating right after the episode)

Also the move away from Sunday at 11:30 should really help Comic Book Men (~.5 demo rating) as long as it's in the 10 PM hour which depending on when they start the block of shows is doable as it should be the leadin with it's already built in audience

everyone keeps talking about how AMC is cheap yet all they do is produce awesome shows. I think the problem is less with AMC and more with show runners who think they know better.

Google it; the "Glenn" being talked about is one of the showrunners and not one of the characters. I believe his last name is Mazarra (sp?)...

Glenn, the character, is not going anywhere anytime soon that we know of.

Just about any character can go at any time, so I don't consider Glenn 'safe' but the Glenn that is confirmed to be leaving the show is Glenn Mazzara, not Glenn the character.

I'm a wuss. It's a good show, but I can never make it through an entire episode because of how gory it gets.

I'm expecting something crazy to happen on tonight's episode since it's the start of the new half season.

I am so hooked on this show now, watched about 3 "Marathon" episodes this morning on AMC. Definitely looking forward to the new episode airing tonight.
