Not to my knowledge. This place was founded after an ACC board was bought by Scout and promptly dismantled, split apart, and destroyed.

It feels like the Big East forums used to around here except this time the ACC and Big East fans aren't fighting with each other because now they're almost all fans of ACC schools.

Thanks for the warm welcome to the ACC, can't wait to join. Also A special thanks to the football schools of the ACC for pushing hard to have Louisville join the ACC.

CONGRATS LOUISVILLE AND CARDINAL NATION!!! You all just made it tougher for UM staff in recruiting. However Howard Schellenberger must be proud to see both of his legacies in the same conference.

We are very happy to have Louisville aboard and see that we will still be playing! I will have to make a visit down there. I only hear good things.

Liking the Steelers also, I've wanted to go to a game at Heinz Field for some time. Would love a Double header Weekend there. 04-cheers

I'm now an out of town fan for Pitt (live in PA but 4 hours away). I would LOVE to do something like that myself. If we can figure it out, perhaps we could organize something together and make an ACCbbs weekend out of it.

I have never been a fan of The ACC. I do however appreciate a ticket off the Titantic conference called The Big East. I will learn to enjoy being a member of The ACC I am sure. Actually watching a recording of the FSU / GT game last night. Disappointed in the crowd that turned out for the ACCCG.

CardHouse here. I've said many bad things about the ACC over the years, is there some kind of confession ritual I must go through and ask for forgivness? Or maybe I just need to give to Dean Smith's favorite charity and buy a Bobby Bowden cowboy hat?

....looking forward to competing with the ACC teams in all sports.

That's odd. On our board you have been extremely supportive of the ACC but hateful of the Big XII. Someone steal your login?

IMO the best thing about UL joining the ACC is I will again share a conference message board with Wilkie.

Wilkie and I have not always seen eye to eye, but I have always respected him, from way back on the old conference realignment board days. He's like me....wants what is best for his school and damn sure don't care what conference it is in. Welcome aboard old friend/foe. Prepare for the whippings. lol

Do I get browny points or some kind of credit since I have always appreciated the ACC and its product? 04-cheers

Let me introduce myself.
First, I have always been an ACC fan.

I was born in Munfordville, KY where a civil war battle was fought. My father was a career Navy man. So I lived near Memphis, TN, in Charleston, SC, and in Honolulu, Hawaii. However, over the years I mostly lived in Norfolk and Newport News Virginia. So I mostly grew up in ACC Country watching ACC sports. MY teams back then were Virginia Tech (aka: VPI)_and the North Carolina Tarheels.

I graduated from High school from Denbigh High in Newport News in 1968 and joined the Navy in 1968. After the my father retired from the Navy the whole family moved back to Kentucky and we all still live in Louisville. I graduated from the University of Louisvill and a caree in Banking.

So you can see why I so glad to have Louisville join the ACC,

I played football, wrestled and ran track. I hunt. fish and play paintball. Oh and I am also retired from the Kentucky Army National Guard.

So I hope you can understand, who I am and why I am so happy and honored by you'll adding my be loved Louisville to the ACC. 04-cheers

Glad you made the cut...looking forward to continuing to play you in football. Quickly becoming one of my favorite games.
