To be a bit more clear for those confused unless things have changed that I am unaware of someone has decided at the ACC that our rival should be Pitt and BC. While I don't consider Pitt a rival I at least understand it. But BC? In order to be a rival there has to be a chance of the other team winning. BC is not a rival for us. Louisville on the other hand while not being on the same level as G'town or UConn too us is right up there and very well could be.
It is no secret that Duke and UNC are the two premier teams in the ACC and will always be each others main foe. While trying not to disrespect any other team in the ACC Syracuse and Louisville are clearly #3 and #4 in what ever order you wish to place them. We already have a budding rivalry and it would make a lot of sense to fan those flames and have that fire take off but given how things that make sense rarely happen in realignment I have my doubts it will occur.
