RE: Congratulations Louisville
I don't know about the wanting it more part but thanks for the congrats. Down 16 with 16 minutes left, I was thinking UofL had less then a 5% chance for a comeback, much less coasting to a win. I thought it was your night when MCW is banking in 3's, but UofL showed what they're capable of in the 2nd half.

Bigger picture I'm most happy in the final 5 years of the real Big East, Louisville made the BET title game 4 of the 5 years and won 3 of the 5 titles.

Our boys simply ran out of steam and Louisville turned up the pressure. Kudos to them.

That said when you look at the box score and see that the aggressive m2m pressing team got called for the same exact number of fouls as the non-pressing zone team it does make you scratch your head.

It is all good brother. We will be waiting for you boys in the ACC so that we can continue this budding rivalry. I certainly look forward to playing you guys more than BC which I hear is our new "rival".

Cheers.

TBH I felt like Cuse fans complained a ton about calls I thought were perfectly valid...

In any case, I am so excited about playing in the "New" ACC with ND, Pitt, Cuse, and the Ville coming in! What a monster basketball league.

No excuses here. When you get blown out by 17, its not the officials fault. Now if it were by 4 points or less then I would start blaming the officials.

But seriously, it would be dumb to try to come up with excuses. The Ville overcame the initial flurry, regained composure, and took over the game.

RE: Congratulations Louisville
I need yous guys advice. So for the first time in my entire 28 years of life, I called the game as over when Cuse went up by 16. We all know what happened immediately after...

I'm a superstitious dude...should I do this for every game now? lol

Thank you My 'Cuse Brothers. This conference has had a really great run and it's sad to see it go. I'm really glad that the 'Cuse, Ville show will go on for Years to come. The ACC should buckle up for a Great Ride into the future. A new era of Great Basketball is very close at hand.

If the ACC were smart they'd reconsider the "rivalry" matchups and pair up Cuse and Louisville! 04-cheers

Duke vs UNC
Cuse vs UL

Those should be the promoted BB rivalries.

BTW, congrats Louisville...I've never seen Cuse get spanked like that over a 15 min period.

There's nothing like going out in style. The Big East is the 4th straight conference where UofL basketball has won the regular season title and won the conference tournament (if held) during their final season in the league.

2012-13 Big East *
2004-05 CUSA
1994-95 Metro
1974-75 Missouri Valley (No tournament)

* - Shared regular season title

There isn't any other team I would have rather played in the last Big East championship game than Syracuse. Cuse has a tremendous basketball program, passionate fans, and was the heart and soul of the Big East. Truly an honor and privilege to play against them last night and hope they keep a seat warm for us as we wait to get into the ACC.

Now let's both tear it up in the tournament. 04-cheers

RE: Congratulations Louisville
Its not too hard to figure out "to smart to happen"........meaning its glaring that these 2 should be rivals and should play each other but the figure heads probably won't put it together.....that phrase has become a bit famous in all of this realignment talk.
