"Over the past two seasons we have visited about half of the ballparks in Division I college baseball..."

Not a full accounting as of yet - but congrats so far!

RE: The Hayes #14 college baseball venue in the nation
The Hayes is a nice quaint baseball stadium. During a football event last spring he mentioned the need to expand with the move to CUSA, but that was before it was known that ECU and Tulane were leaving. Hopefully the need will still be there, but that removes two teams that are commonly in the top 25 and almost always in the top 50.

Sorry, but 100% disagree, been to Charlotte's stadium, UNC, NC State's, of course ECU's Clark-LeClair(not even on at list), Reckling, and USM.

In the NC, (don't shot me fellow Pirate Fans)

1. UNC, first rate field (they did spend 13 million on it), good sight line, over very nice park if they actually had fans

2. ECU, Clark-LeClair is almost the match of UNC's Boshamer Stadium, great field, though a hitters park, great facilities with indoor batting cages built into to stadium, the "Jungle" is rocking when full, ECU leads the entire state in home attendance despite not having great years.

3. Charlotte, very nice stadium, nice views around the stadium, though smallish. It good place to start and expand from.

4. NC State, the only redeeming thing about state's field are the cheeseburgers. I thought they were an engineering school? They are ????? Well, then who F thought it was a good idea to poles for the catch fence in front of the seats or a chair back seat behind a 4 foot wide light pole? No wonder Ray Tanner left to coach South Carolina.

C-USA,

1. Rice hands down first class ballpark
2. USM another great place to watch a game
3. ECU
4. La Tech
5. Charlotte
6. ODU
7. FIU
8. FAU
9. MTSU
10. UAB
11. Marshall

You started to lose me at La Tech and lost me completely at ODU.

I find this stadium quite ugly honestly (sorry ODU fans):

La Tech's is alright. I disagree with you, but it is not so much worse than Charlotte's that I'd argue the point.

03-ideaI f-up sorry, ODU was supposed to be below Charlotte will fix. But, for me between LaTech and Charlotte it's a near tie, flip of the coin. Also, just realized left off MTSU.

MTSU has a nice stadium. It's not big, but its nice. Reminds me a lot of ours, it just doesn't have the built into the ground look ours does due to the elevation change around our stadium.

Also, I agree about La Tech, their's just looks like it could use a little sprucing up. It definitely has some years on it.

Remember that this list takes things into account such as access, food, and parking instead of just looks and game atmosphere.

We know, but they haven't been to all of them. ECU isn't even listed cause they haven't been here, which actually is very surprising.

If takes in account parking then we should be dead last. Our parking services has to be one of the worst our there.

a little birdie told me he visited during spring break, thus didn't have to deal with the parking issues.

UNC is right there with you, one of the worst places for park to go to any athletic event.

They've only visited half of D-1 schools to rate them, ECU is among those yet to rated.

I hate admitting this, but Chapel Hill's baseball parking situation is infinitely better than ours. But at least our's is free, and you can find a spot to tailgate where we are. But if you are just looking to park and get in the game, ours really sucks for baseball.

If you want to park right beside the stadium, yes, but there are three parking decks and a flat surface lot a 5-7 minute walk from the field.

A) There has already been a thread about this topic.
B) SJ only went to half of the stadiums so far. He hasn't gone to East Carolina yet, for example.
