Missed fgs and fumbles almost doomed Rice.

Tulane had 1 drive the entire game. Rice had about 4. Rice committed 2 turnovers (10 Tulane points) to 1 ( 7 Rice points); Rice missed a 50 yard FG and had another blocked.

hardly as extreme as you comment. Hard fought defensive game by two good teams.
