Things I liked about 2013 C-USA Football
Things I liked about C-USA football this year

1. Marshall and Rice in the CCG, instead of pre-season picks of Tulsa and ECU.
2. Southern Miss broke the streak.
3. Some great efforts by our new mates, particularly North Texas, UTSA, Middle Tennessee and FAU.
4. 8 Bowl Eligible teams, based on record. It may be tough to get UTSA and FAU into a bowl, but it doesn't change the fact they did their part.
5. Good inaugural outing by our Charlotte team.
6. WKU ends at 8-4. They will be a contender next year, I predict.
7. Very competitive games week end and week out.
8. Division champs not decided until the last week in both divisions, with 5 (count 'em....5) teams in the mix until the end, with MTSU and North Texas, just out of the running. (In fact, they were still in it, on the next to last week.)
9. ECU and now Marshall getting top 25 votes helps the conference.

Any you care to add?

C-USA is in good shape going forward. Happy to be a part of the future.

I don't think people realize how important this one is, because we were in the middle of bowl renegotiations.

Are you really looking forward to losing 3 more schools from this conference?

I was not looking forward to any of the previous schools leaving.

Agree with the above, and I think there were alot of games that laid the groundwork for the future rivalry games in the conference. UTSA's win at North Texas, and MT's last second win versus Marshall are two that come to mind. Glad to see FAU finally getting back into the picture.

The thing I'll enjoy most is a bowl sweep. Let's go do it.

I think everyone is just ready for this stuff to be done. It's been going on since 2009. Time for some normalcy for a change.
