Southern Miss/UTEP could potentially royally screw CUSA. I actually give a small advantage to teams with one game under their belt during tourney time. They get the jitters out and the bye team tends to come out a little flat. That plus the home court advantage makes that game very troublesome.

This really blows for UTEP fans. El Paso hosting the tournament but UTEP finishes fifth.......just one ####### place behind to avoid receiving a two game bye in the tournament! I really wish UAB had won tonight! Now UTEP has to win four games in row to win the tournament in El Paso. I can guarantee you if Isaac Hamilton had chose to honor his National Letter of Intent instead of backing out UTEP wouldn't be in this position right now!

Look at the positive. Having the home team (UTEP) play 4 games should help with tournament attendance. Plus, UTEP fans have 4 more chances to see their team play.

I don't like our chances having to play four games in a row. Again, I think had Isaac Hamilton chose to come instead of backing out UTEP wouldn't be in this situation. What made it worse is UTEP lost three players due to that stupid gambling scandal to put UTEP is this position.

Are you nuts? And I say that with the outmost respect. 03-wink If we win our first game against ecu or Ootsa we will play so. miss. in the second. With our short bench I don't see it happening. It's conceivable but it's a long shot. Man, wouldn't it be a bummer for so.miss to lose this game. Their chances at an at-large would be lost.

Yeah, that's just a positive for the Britton and everyone else in CUSA except UTEP

Weak. You can re-take that class any other semester. There's only one 2014 CUSA Tournament! 05-stirthepot

How about posting the women's also so that people who are planning to go can decide whether to watch the men's or go next door to see the women.

Women have one more game left (postponed Charlotte at UAB), to decide between seeds 6-8

odu's matchup is pretty favorable in the 2nd round, but barring we get past that game, the quarterfinal game against Middle Tennessee is going to be a tough one. Both the two top seeds on our side of the bracket pretty much smacked us around. I'm hoping we just played extremely bad those time.
