Not only aren't you getting any respect, you are getting even less than Marshall and much of the rest of the G5. Get off your high horses
and stop acting like you have some magic formula. NIU hasn't gotten any respect since you got waxed in the BCS bowl.

Notre Dame got waxed that year, NIU got beat.

at half: FSU 14 NIU 3
Bama 28 ND 0

after 3: FSU 17 NIU 10
Bama 35 ND 7

Final: FSU 31 NIU 10
Bama 42 ND 14

As for respect, keeping mind NIU has 2 losses Marshal 1 and had Boise lost NIU would have gone to the access bowl NOT marshall.

NIU was beaten by 3 TDs, ND by 4. Where is the demarcation line between beaten and waxed?

NIU certainly has a good team and it seems to me your bowl game will be one of the best of the year

If you rank all of the BCS Bowls in BCS bowl history by margin of loss ND's ranks in the top 10, NIU's does not. That would be my demarcation line. In fact, ND was 0-4 in BCS Bowls and 3 of those were by 28pts or more and in the top 10.
