While I do look down on those that have kids and can't make it without government assistance, I also look down on those that can support a family and choose to never grow up. I think you came in at the wrong part of that. I was questioning why ER thinks that people who don't have/don't want children are not "grown ups".

I think we all agree that if you spawn, you should do your damnedest to take care of your spawn.

Oh, I see. Disregard my last response then. I didn't read that part. It's tough being a parent, and even though I have four boys between 6 and 12, I've told my GF that we probably won't have one together. But that's also because I don't want another one.

If an individual is on any type of government assistance, they should be mandated to not procreate or be jailed. They need to receive birth control injections at the health dept in order to receive their $$$$$. Simple!!

It gives you a perspective on life that can't be put into words on this board. I had the exact same opinion as you regarding children until I got married and we had one. My son is the best thing that ever happened to me. I'll just leave it at that.

Yeah, you worded it better than I did when I called it temp sterilization. Tell libs to get on birth control in order to keep the free cash flowing and they go nuts.
