The bar graph in the OP should first be scaled by a bar that represents 100k people, to give it some perspective. Then, the next bar over could be the microscopic bar (3/100k) that represents the USA's gun crime, and the next fractionally smaller, but still microscopic bar (0.75/100k) representing Switzerland's gun crime, etc.

Hard to get comparable year data, but it looks like our murder rate without guns is higher than many of these countries total rates.

this is the kinda shite I show my daughter......she laughs at me and goes, "dad.....dad....dad......I know dammit" with those beautiful blue eyes fluttering.....she's now gotten bold enough to say that too......I love that girl.....
