Texas changing its tune? Orangebloods owner: Invite USF & UCF
As many know,Orangebloods is a huge Texas fan site. It is considered by some to be the "mouthpiece" for Texas.

Well, this mouth piece just dropped this bomb:

Welp, if thats the case then i guess NIU and Buffalo to the AAC would make sense. Or Buffalo and Toledo. Maybe NIU and Toledo?

Would the AAC wanna drop outta florida completely or what? I doubt they stay at 10, and FIU is a pretty crappy answer

Dude, you are delusional.

The AAC will first look to CUSA just like usual.

Oh please dear 8lb 7oz baby Jesus:

Let fat ketch have this dream of his come true! (please note Lord, the one about the Big 12 bringing in the two U_F schools, not the one where the Plucker's manager gives him all you can eat privileges for life)

I'm sure all the Horns would just be giddy over the B12 invite of UCF and USF.

As a Big XII football fan I am okay with this if the following 2 conditions are met.

1) USF builds an OCS

2) UCF goes back to their original name, Florida Tech

3) Bonus points if UCF coeds are required to do one semester abroad in the state of Kansas.

Don't think your #2 is possible anymore since a private school in FL now has it.

As to the question, which school set would WVU prefer, given WVU's recruiting habits in Florida? Cincy/Memphis must have been met coolly as travel partners. This doesn't bode well for them. With only USF, UConn and Cindy left from the old Big East, UConn has the ACC and Big 10 as chances. Cincy's last hope might slip away.

I don't speak for WVU fans, but I think they would prefer USF and UCF over any other AAC combo. WVU loves to recruit Florida and has had a lot of success down there.

This could signal several things:

1) Another run at FSU.

2) Shutting down one of Boren's two stated "reasons" for OU's possible exodus from the B12 by expanding to 12 while satisfying FOX's needs for exposure in Florida (it will be interesting to see if the other reason, the lack of a conference network is somehow addressed)

3) First step to building the B12 into the only true G5 that will matter a decade from now so when the GORs run out and the major programs leave they do so in such a way as to make the B12 remain viable as the best of the G5, if not necessarily a P5 conference

Cheers,
Neil

The private school is officially Florida Institute of Technology, or FIT. FIT and Florida Tech coexisted for a time until UCF changed its name.

It could suggest several things:
1) Orangebloods needs more $9.95 a month subscribers;
2) Orangebloods needs more advertisers and Ketchum wants to get attention;
3) Ketchum wants something from UCF and USF.

BE4evah, I just looked around and it appears that no one has called you a trolling moron in the past few hours. I feel remiss about that, and must make up for it. BE, you're a trolling moron. Go bury yourself back in the Boneyard.

I did say several things. Just because I listed three of them (you know the top three things that pertain to this board's reasons for being), doesn't mean I hadn't thought of others as well. 03-wink

Cheers,
Neil

NIU would get a pretty big look i'd assume for the AAC with UMass (and F_U)

I've seen crazier things but I doubt USF goes w/ UCF (over-saturation).

If the Big 12 did go to Florida, I would add both to get critical mass.

You aren't adding a flagship and you have 3 giants ahead of you in the pecking order (as well as two conferences).
