So I guess the Hokies started the season one deep at QB... now zero deep. Not good.

Tyler Ferguson is transferring from Louisville, VT maybe a good fit.

Any transfer QB who wants playing time should consider VT.

Hey, Syracuse could use another QB too. We lost Hunt in the first quarter of the first game (but I will leave it to those SU fans more knowledgable on the recruiting/depth area than me).

The latest on Ferguson.

http://www.scout.com/college/louisville/...louisville

"The 6-foot-4, 225-pound Ferguson completed 7 of 13 passes for 47 yards and one interception in Louisville's spring game. He arrived on campus in July of last year and spent all of last season participating in the "young players" scrimmages each week.

U of L coach Bobby Petrino said after the spring that Ferguson had a strong arm but "had a ways to go" on decision-making and his understanding of the offense.

Ferguson completed 10 of 15 passes for 155 yards and one TD as a backup two years ago at Penn State. He had previously been a junior-college standout with the College of the Sequoias in California the previous year, throwing for over 2,600 yards and completing 55 percent of his passes at that level."

Brewer kid is a shame. He's too brave for his own good. Took way too many shots. VT had a real shot with him in the game. I feel for them.

Admittedly, you made it a game in the 2nd quarter. I didn't see it, but there was an OSU td called back and then after that VT went on its run? Was it a legit penalty? I watched most of the 3rd quarter and Miller just pwned.

Buckeye QB ran an option play right past a Hokies DE who was obviously being pulled away from the hole... ref who threw the flag was about 5 yards away.

Could've used Andrew Ford.
