Good luck man - I have to hand it to you, not many dads would start a hype campaign armed only with some Freshman FB game video.
Hope you guys get some of the attention and offers you are hoping for.

Mr. Cisco. I'm happy for your son, and you should be proud of what he's accomplished so far. It's obviously in no small part due to the support that you've shown for him. Just one small piece of advice, and I hope this doesn't land wrong. The original spam comment was uncalled for, but that came from an anonymous fan on a message board. You're not anonymous now, for better or for worse, and your son may become well known. Having message board battles is only going to serve to bring negative attention to Nathan from fan bases, and possibly unwelcome attention. You should obviously keep supporting your son, but might want to dial back the message board interaction. Good luck this season!

BTW, got a letter from Cincinnati last week. Identifying him as someone they want and giving him a choice of 4 home games to attend.

Good stuff. Wish you and your son the best as you navigate through this process.

Same...I wish you luck!
After watching that video you can definitely see the improvement and that he has grown more comfortable in his frame. Good mid level arm strength, decent pocket mobility, and keeps an eye downfield on all plays which are all huge positive check marks...and that frame is something you can't teach.
With that being said, you need to consider that this could be construed as a violation of NCAA contact rules.

Goodluck! Cincinnati is a fantastic school athletically and academically.
From the video it looks like he still needs to improve his arm strength but that will come as long as he's hitting the weight room. At 170lbs (rivals has him at 165) he needs to add some bulk or he'll get crushed in the college game. He needs to get up near that 200+lb range while still maintaining good mobility.

Especially considering XU's AD is now chair of the NCAA's infractions committee

I agree, I hope he continues to post here as long as he's no Lavar Ball. I'd love to hear as much as he's comfortable sharing. What would a violation be? Isn't this basically the same thing as giving an interview?
So that last highlight Ciscoshow posted was of his sophomore year? Arm strength looked pretty damn good to me.

RE: 2019 QB prospect
Saw this blurb from an article over the summer from a Vandy camp:
Quote:Friday's camp featured several underclassmen at quarterback that will be worth a follow over the next few years. Independence 2019 passer Nathan Cisco had arguably the throw of the day as he laid a beautiful downfield pass inside the 5-yard line during 7-on-7 reps that drew quite a response.
Very nice!

He is 185 now. Can bench 245 and squat 365 now. He has been hit by some D1 sec level DL's this year, has not fumbled even when hit on the blind side. Has not missed a play. He will be over 200 before senior year. I don't know about that mid level stuff, he clan throw it 60 pretty easily.

RE: 2019 QB prospect
I would highly recommend consulting the NCAA Recruitment Compliance Handbook...all of these messages could technically be considered by a compliance review as being improper contact with Boosters of a specific institution.
Mods should consider closing this thread, as it is skirting a line of non-compliance and I certainly wouldn't want that to affect the recruitment of what looks to be a talented kid.

Will be attending the game against Marshall this weekend at the invitation of the head coach. Also received a letter from him, Ole Miss, Western Kentucky, Harvard, Princeton , Penn State, Michigan State and Vanderbilt. So far, more to come Hmmm...

You're still spamming message boards that have no impact on recruiting.
Go volunteer at a soup kitchen or something.

RE: 2019 QB prospect
If you or your son want to come to UC, that's awesome. I hope he is an outstanding QB, Fickell gives him an offer, and he has a great career at UC. I seriously doubt anyone on this board would hope to the contrary. You obviously think highly of UC, so you can't be too bad of a guy.
However, some folks are correct when they say that posting on here probably isn't wise, due to NCAA recruiting rules and the fact that it won't actually impact recruiting.
Oh, and one more tip about recruiting: stay away from Adidas.

Not sure why you quoted me, but I still stand by everything I said:
- You posted on all said message boards...check
- What we think means nothing in the recruiting game...check
- Am I still fully confident you are the kid and not dad...check
Otherwise carry on and best of luck in the recruitment process, it can be very stressful!

Or any apparel company for that matter. NFL Europe is no more and the Arena Football League and the CFL isn't exactly overflowing with NFL talent these days.
