To be fair, "During the 350 years of the Spanish Inquisition, between 3,000-5,000 people were sentenced to death (about 1 per month)"
The Inquisition is nothing even close to the Holocaust and its evil is grossly overrated.

Slavery is ancient history? Whoa that's a new one on me.
It is ancient history, mensoron.
I haven't seen any Blacks in shackles in the U.S.since it was outlawed. Have you? You Libtards keep bringing slavery up but when a post doesn't suit you you say it's ancient history. What a "tard".
Yeah, yeah get over it right?
I've seen the memes that say never forget the Holocaust or 9/11 but God forbid we should remember slavery.
Holocaust happened in Germany in the 1940's, Slavery is was global. It is not unique to N. America. Why do you always bring up slavery as though it was unique to N. America? Still waiting for you to thank my people for getting your people out of mud huts, howling at the moon, and human sacrificing to the gods.

Not defending Feet but you need to read a LOT of history books on the Inca, Mayan, Aztec, and Toltec civilizations. You're speaking through your rear end because that's where crap comes out of.
As for canabalism that is purported to occur these Indian groups weren't the only ones. It happened in many other places.
But I still sometimes barbecue a heart here and there. Hmm, delicious. **smacking lips**

Said the Catholic. If it was you that was being burned at the stake because you didn't believe in a certain catholic dogma you wouldn't be so apologetic. Read, read, read my friend and lay off the catechism. It's only the official stance of the catholic church and has nothing to do with the Bible. Oh, I was a catholic too and now I'm an apostate. I hope the pope doesn't come after me for dissing the catechism.
When I was younger I also was an apologist for the church but I read the Bible (which was frowned upon BIG time up to the twentieth century) and found out the truth for myself and kicked the Habit.

I am teasing him. Nobody has a sarcasm meter anymore.

" Further, the Inquisition was the first to pronounce Europe’s witch hunt a delusion and prohibited anyone from being tried or burnt for witchcraft (the number of witches killed by the inquisition was less than 100 out of over 125,000 trials)."

Not Catholic. I attended a Catholic school but I am sorely Methodist for three reasons.
1. Too much of an emphasis on Mary (I do that they don't worship her, but still.)
2. Confession.
3. The belief that the Eucharist is literally Christ's blood and body.

Many Americans feel that we don't need unlimited types of assault style guns available to everyone or high capacity magazines, etc. Many others support basic reforms and common sense screenings before purchase. You can have all these and still have a vibrant second amendment.
Yet another veiled allusion that the Constitution is "a living, breathing document."

So, what difference does it make whether anyone "needs" those things?
And, of course, they're not available to everyone, so your comment is predicated on a lie. And the number of deaths or injuries that they case is minuscule compared to those caused by cheap pistols.
