We are making the drive (actually doing a down and back...17 hours of driving) tomorrow hope it's a better game than 2 years ago.

ON a side note just booked my first ever flight for the FAU game...$108 ($216 for 2)round trip is cheaper than the cost to drive. Hope it does NOT crash :)

As a pilot I must say that Planes are much safer than driving.

I will say that cause I'm guessing you are leaving out of Owensboro. (I think they are the only ones to fly into there)

Well even that being the case, I'd be surprised if flights out of Owensboro are that cheap. I don't have much experience flying into or out of cities that small(Wilmington and Shreveport are the smallest I've experienced) but that sounds too cheap for a smaller airport.

Leaving from Nashville...Southwest

But for tonight...Western by 4 with the defense redeeming itself with a last drive stop on Tech. My last couple trips to Tech...was not fun. One basketball and one football. Both blowouts. We are hitting the road, first stopping Memphis, BQ lunch.

I only fly south west , they are by far the most organized airline and for the most part do a good job. I flew south west to Dominican Republic last year and Mexico this year and both was good flights

Safe travels to all WKU fans making the trip to North Central Louisiana!

We hope your time here will be as miserable this year as it has been in years past. 04-cheers 04-bow

Seriously, though...should be a good game, and we'd love to meet you guys in person. We tailgate on the northwest hill beside the Thomas Assembly Center arena, "amongst" the big pines. Huge blue tent, big Tech flag, and LOTS of BOUDIN on the grill...so just follow your nose. Y'all come get you some. 04-rock

Southwest usually has very good deals out of Nashville. Southwest pretty much has a hub there so they do a good job filling the seats for really good deals.

Southwest is very cheap out of Louisville, too. Booked a direct flight round trip from SDF-MCO (Orlando) in December. $67 each way for midday departures.

Listened to Sirius XM "Full Ride" this morning and Western and La Tech got another real boost regarding tonight's TV Game. Childers and Nueheisel (sp) made it sound like Must See TV. Going head to head with Memphis/Temple on ESpin. Let's hope the number of eyeballs are up for the CUSA Game and not the AAC game. Let's hope the Toppers and Bulldogs give the viewers a reason to stay on the CUSA Channel. We need to become important to CBS or some other network before we sign another No $, crappy, insignificant TV Contract.03-banghead

Probably because Rick is doing color for the game, I am sure will be highly entertaining game if I had to guess...
