I think it has to do more with the fact she is a very professional performer. She is the real deal in terms of talent, training, and drive.

I was more speaking to the visuals during that song when the dancers for that number were obvious, over the top gay and tranny.

Mariah and Emma are likely lame partners but for different reasons. Mariah is such a diva she probably refuses to go down on a dude. Emma likely refuses any position that deems to be "objectifies women", so you're stuck only doing missionary (although now that I think of it she is probably cool with being on top as she is in control, but forget about having her go reverse cowgirl).

Gaga is likely a freak. Anything and everything is fair game. She's also down with bringing toys, her girlfriends, etc. but unfortunately she'll want to bring in Skip (one of her back up dancers) as well.

She also is getting ready to kick off a world tour. Pretty sure she didn't want to piss off those that may spend good money to see her perform.

The visuals of her dancers during that segment. They were obviously over the top flamboyant gays and trannys. Looked like a gay pride parade.

Maybe everyone was just expecting the worst from her and was surprised she toned it down a bit.
