That's a remarkable accusation.

You've lost what little credibility you had. You're a fraud. Nobody that is as educated, worldy and traveled as you claim you are can possibly be this stupid.

So how do the hospitals decide who gets the charity care and who doesn't? Because they don't provide it to everyone.

When GOP Gov Brewer of Arizona cut off funding, the hospitals let transplant patients die as a result.

The hospitals are choosing who they decide to help and who they let die.

I strongly believe that straights and Christians get extra life because our government built a bunch of hospitals and handed it to them for below market cost.

And during the 80's the GOP allowed 300,000 Gay people to drop dead without lifting much of a finger...simply because they didn't like them and didn't want to spend money on their healthcare.

Insurance isn't a savings account dumb***. They don't have your money earmarked for you somewhere. If you're thinking like that then go set up a HSA which Obamacare ruined.

May I point out that we also paid into disability as well. That includes healthcare. We should pay more into food stamps, Medicare and all that. Like an investment that could help people. Even poor people would pay into it. We do not want people to starve to death, be in pain, lose electricity in the summer or winter time to burn or free to death and so forth. Utility companies are notorious cutting power off on the elderly and chronically ill people on kidney dialogists or on oxygen that requires electricity to run. It is not how our welfare is about, but we need to train the social workers on where the real needs are at like the elderly, disabled or sick people needs. They are the ones who wind up getting the major cuts in support than a woman with 6 kids, single and buying herself new stuff and not thinking about the kids. Chaffetz got his priorities wrong when he said that.

Hospitals refused to treat. The government spent more on the Tylenol scare than they did on AIDS for years.

The "Christian" hospitals, many of which were built with taxpayer dollars, will choose who they help and who they wont. And there's no mechanism to prevent them from picking favorites.

If the care isn't mandated, it will be denied to minorities. That is the history and its not just Gays. Christian hospitals repeatedly let persons of color die rather than treat them in the 50s and 60s for example.

Either way, Trumpcare = just drain their assets with inflated bills then let them die. Unless they are Christian and supported by the majority. Then they'll get their chemo or their transplant.

Please point to where coverage for cancer treatment or a heart transplant is mandated under Trumpcare....

They WILL deny coverage and you can't get chemo at the ER. And all the hospitals, including the 'fake Christian' ones WILL deny them coverage.

You realize that Trumpcare will result in 30 percent of Americans losing health coverage? Most because Trump and the GOP simply told their employer, "go ahead dump healthcare for your employees and use the money to buy yourself a third house in the Dominican Republic", some because they aren't insurable and they'll be offered no comprehensive plan that covers them financially AT ANY PRICE, and some because Trumpcare incentivizes people to wait until they get sick to join the system.

And with uninsurance rates moving from 10 to 40 percent, hospitals would go broke quickly providing needed care for people who can't afford it (and that's before the hospitals raise rates 500% because Trumpcare just greenlighted those cost increases)....and since they're not interested in providing care anyway. They won't provide the care. And people will die as a result. Even if they've paid into the system for life.

lol. C'mon man. The increases you describe are happening now---worse in fact. Some have had increases over 100% this year. That's going to cause fewer and fewer to be covered. The Obama care "solution" has literally become the problem.

And who the hell is starving in America other than kids that the parents are simply neglecting. And can you link some of these notorious power shut offs of dialysis machines.

Under Obamacare, once your income falls below a certain level the MUST cover you and they MUST cover you for major events. Increases were a result of the ban on back door subsidies passed by the GOP in 2014.

Under Obamacare, more people are insured. That is a fact.

Trumpcare will result in 30-50 million people losing insurance within the first couple of years.

---

70% of Americans will NEVER be able to afford healthcare, because its pricing is so inflated, they don't make enough money to pay for it, and more importantly, the private sector cannot accommodate them.

At least under Obamacare, everyone had access to insurance that was income means tested, companies were required to pay for benefits (which mitigated their desire to pawn off the costs of their low wages to others - so they could profit from that). And there were required coverages and strong prohibitions against discrimination. With Trumpcare, we will get runaway costs, no coverage minimums, the THEFT of the insurance reserves, lifetime maximums of about 10 bucks, and massive disruption to our system.

And I live in Texas, where you cannot sue a doctor or a hospital for any real money. THey can KILL you via obvious malpractice and you can't sue for more than 0.05% of the CEO's salary.

Yup. Americans are just irresponsible and we all don't know how to prioritize our spending.

Maybe we should make him pay for his own healthcare instead of the one provided to senators by taxpayers.

Chaffetz is absolutely correct.

And who the hell is starving in America other than kids that the parents are simply neglecting. And can you link some of these notorious power shut offs of dialysis machines.

Do you think $16,000 a year is enough to survive on when you get a monthly paycheck? You have rent, utilities, and food prices have gone over the roof. There was a time back in the 1980s that I went like 5 days without eating anything because we did not have any food. My dad made too much for government assistant, and churches and charities won't help because they go by the government standards of the poverty line. The people between $16,000 to $30,000 fell through the cracks because of the high rising costs of everything. I was also homeless as a kid at a time all under Republicans were in charge of the White House. I rank Reagan and George HW Bush in my top ten worst Presidents of all time. Grant was number one as the worst President for causing Genocide against Native Americans. He have been replaced by Trump now as the worst President in the history of the USA. I also have Clinton in the top 10 as well.

Gay people died because they contracted AIDS, not because of the political make-up of Congress and the Executive.

This is beyond dumb
