If it had been a snake, it would have bit you, Horny!

Not to worry, I'm sure there's an anecdote for that.

Looks like the facade has been ripped off Carrier. Glad to see that ugly gray composite material gone as it was an eyesore for the bluestone area (still plagued by Roop and Miller).

Were the books/collections in Carrier moved to Rose or were they not exposed to the elements as a result of the work being done?

I'd take that gray composite over luke-warm brick in our design scheme ...i think it works - all about the design and complimentary materials/colors

Ikenberry Hall is all but gone... maybe a couple of scoops of foundation left. New utilities going in.

Renovated Convo, open for business. You can really see what the building was built for before Uncle Ron reappropriated it.

Wow, very impressive top to bottom! Nice home base for most of the Olympics! Huge upgrade for the department, hopefully this builds on the success we have been seeing.

Also nice seeing chairbacks for volleyball, they should have a huge year as SBC favorites on the new court.

This is nice. Very well done. I couldn't imagine this. To think I would have been all for taking the building down.

One thing to note. Being sunk down below ground level as the court is, was not part of the original design. When the redesign came about and the building configured for basketball operations under Uncle Ron's watch, the framework of the building was already in place. They actually took the heavy earth moving equipment inside the framework and dug down. Having the floor below grade wasn't part of the original concept. It seems to work well with this design.

RE: Campus construction and projects
In today's BoV meeting materials, there is mention of the following capital projects and funding for 2024-2026 identifies renovations to Johnston Hall, Spotswood Hall, Moody Hall, Godwin Hall, and construction of the next wing of CHBS.

Education & General Projects
Carrier Library Renovation & Expansion Equipment 7,043,000
East Campus Infrastructure Phase III - Distribution 28,710,000
Johnston Hall Renovation & Expansion 26,820,000
College of Health & Behavioral Studies Expansion 109,630,000
Godwin Hall Renovation 40,480,000
Moody Hall Renovation & Expansion 46,340,000
Auxiliary Projects
Blanket Property Acquisition 3,000,000
Spotswood Hall Renovation 23,820,000

Approved meeting minutes from April Athletics Committee states "Capital projects are in the planning stages" so of course that means Bridgeforth Stadium right? 05-stirthepot
