Is Hurley the right guy? Who knows, but he has accomplished some nice things. He will be able to recruit the Northeast really well, which is what UCONN needs. He will have to live up to a lot of expectations. Hopefully, he can bring UCONN back to our former self. March is not the same without the Huskies. Besides, the conference needs UCONN to go deep in March like we have done many many times.
You need to make that your signature and stick around the board for a while. Some need to be shown what true greatness looks like.
I really enjoyed my time in CT and going to a few UCONN games while dating a girl from Manchester years ago. I kind of became a little bit of a fan and miss it up there. Good times.
We need to make a statement hire as well.
