Um, I think you might need to look into UCONNs NCAA transgression/APR track record.

We are both prepared to skirt the rules to get back to relevance.

A bad APR isn't foul play. It's actually the opposite. UCONN reported its academic failures.

You were suspended from the NCAA tournament. That's not nothing. Plus, that's just one instance. You have other infringement issues in your past as well.

BTW, I am not slamming UCONN. NCAA rules are dumb and immoral...not UCONNs actions.

I didn't think you were slamming UCONN. Just wanted to point out that the NCAA is is a farce for giving UCONN a 1 year ban for reporting a bad APR, while congratulating UNC for creating fake classes.

I completely 100% agree with this.

Kinda like the NCAA vacating our season because Derrick Rose didnt answer a letter from the College Board sent to the wrong address but did nothing to KU having a player(Darrell Arthur) who had his transcript changed in high school.

Win 25+ games? 2nd weekend in the tourney? Regular season Conference title?

Well, if it's winning tourney games, y'all better pray for both.

WSU, Memphis, and UCONN are this conference's only hopes in that department.

Is this a rhetorical question?

Since you were the first to ask, I'm going with UCONN.

Memphis. UConn isn't going to be winning multiple national championships any time soon, if ever. I'm still of the opinion that their national championships were flukes. Of course they still won them and get to celebrate/have bragging rights but it's not like they were this blue blood putting together top 10 teams every year.

Memphis on the other hand is going to be on probation in the next few years.

Yup. 4 flukes.

Yup. 4 flukes.

I actually thought it was only 3 and 1 was with Ollie. My memory doesn't go much past the pre-KenPom era. Was Ollie the worst national championship game ever against Butler or was that a Calhoun one? I've tried to erase that one from my memory. That one was a fluke too. I guess we can break UConn into two periods. Blue blood-esque 90s to mid 2000s, fluke-esque mid 2000s to Ollie.

Could be great or not. Roster is just too much in flux to have any real idea yet.

That's why this is a prediction thread... it's not much fun to wait until after then "predict" in hindsight ...

Yes, but the success rate is much higher.

We wont be back next season since its so late in the recruiting year, we only have three spots open, and the real recruits that Penny has connections with are in the 2019 class. Even with that class in we'll be really young. It could be a couple of years for Memphis. Still, I think we'll win large when we do.

I chose UConn mostly because I think it could take Penny a couple years to Coach at the college level. Hurley is more of a known commodity.

I think Penny lands some top recruits sooner rather than later. UConn will be back soon as well

LOL. I wasn't talking about waiting until after the season. Just until this April signing period is going and we have a better idea who will be on roster.

I'll get back to you in about 3 weeks. 03-lmfao

HINT: Obviously this means I think UConn has the edge at the moment, unless we add another player or two.
