It is the first post. Quincy have a 1.8 rating.

2017 isn't current, David.

Very interesting! I love to read about unique little schools like this.

You think a list you posted in May 2018 based on an article from March 2017 is still relevant as we are fast approaching 2022.

In March 2020, Quincy received a Reaffirmation of Accreditation by the Higher Learning Commission. There have been no actions involving Quincy since then.

Quincy has been on the brink of closure numerous times in the last 25 years and has had accreditation problems due to money on numerous occasions. I wouldn't say they are stable by any means based on the fact that they were removed from warning just last year.

Decades of constant financial problems don't just disappear overnight unless you come into a ton of money, and Quincy hasn't. The place is a dump, run down, tiny, and in both a city, and state with a rapidly declining high school age population. Their prospects are poor.

David's right on this one boys.

775/24 = 32.3

So basically, over half the school was on sports teams?

What winning streak? Quincy is still open (the post quoted is from 2020/21. Quincy received a $6.5 million gift a year ago, and is not in danger of closing.

Holy Family is definitely NOT closed.

Why is IUPUI on the list; the split has no affect on athletics.

How many of these schools had athletics?

How many of these closings actually forced a realignment?

It is listed in that link of changes of closings, mergers and all that. I did not say anything else.

Sierra Nevada is listed as the name of the school is no more, but part of the change of the merger or taken over on the list in the link.

Everything on the DavidSt list is indeed closed or closing as noted. In your critique of his list, you for 0 for 1. DavidSt wins another round.
