They're still playing great. Nice to follow, especially in the wake of the men's disastrous past few years.

I watched most of the game v Jamaica. The Jamaica keeper plays for UNCW.

3-0 at the half. Not our most challenging opponent.

Perhaps Ellis just wanted to be sure Huge would'nt listen to Solo and replace her for not reaching new standards and heights of excellence.

Reminds me of a Texas A&M game one time during the Manziel years and we were so far ahead they let Johnny try the XP. He missed it.

Throwball aside, glad the ladies jumped out to a big win. The only challenge in our group stage will be Sweden, so need to have the juices flowing by then.

We are very good but I watched the game and Thailand is bad. They made the tournament but if you looked at the teams they beat to qualify, they are not good teams.

Yeah, Thailand would have been at the bottom of the CAA standings.

Hard to know how high to run up the score in a game like that. 13-0 seems like a lot, but that game could have been 30-0. Will Sweden get 14 and stop?

I'm certainly not advocating for Thailand, but they lost to....

#4 France 3-0
#15 Italy 4-1
#7 Japan 2-0

They aren't good, but they aren't as bad as last in the CAA. Thailand is currently #34 in the world standings.

13-0 is ludicrous and points more towards how talented the USWNT is.

Only 4 starters from the France-South Korea WC match started for France in the Thailand friendly with one other starter subbing in for 27+ minutes in the Thailand match and getting 2 goals over that period.

France used it as a depth practice. It was a real prep match for Thailand alone.

In a friendly. Final score is completely inconsequential and they likely put on the brakes. France may have played their C squad the entire time.

Women's rankings are heavily skewed to the first 15 teams. After that...huge drop off. This was the problem with increasing the field for the World Cup. Id wager that the USA B, C and D team would all come well ahead of Thailand.
