I don’t think BYU can go to the NY6 Bowl.

They cannot, the access spot is for highest G5 conference. The only way they get in is to beat out a P5, which will never happen.

I am here, terrible loss today, but season is not over. Other teams can still lose games so while the AAC should get the access bowl, it is not cinched yet or even close.

Honestly I think the more hurtful, loss was Hawaii. Plenty of football left to be play. Nothing has been decided yet.

I agree that there is still a lot of football left to be played. But Boise winning would have put them in the driver's seat for the NY6 bowl. Now it is the AAC's to lose.
Houston's loss is a negative for the American, just like Navy's loss to Hawaii in week 1, but the overall strength of the AAC vs the overall weakness of the mwc plus the lack of any WMU-like candidate from the other three gives the advantage to whomever comes out of the American
