He then went to a program in FSU with enough talent to blindly fart your way to at least 7-9 wins per season and somehow managed to lose there, even while playing in a pretty bad ACC conference.

He's a good coach?

He coached Oregon for a year and was very average. He was below average at FSU and got run out after 1.5 years. I just am not big on him, especially being so bad that he made FSU cough up $20 million for a buyout. He is probably a good G5 head coach and nothing more.
I said when he was hired at FSU he reminded me a lot of Al Golden at Miami, I was right.

Looks like Taggart for the long haul. A 5-year contract at $750k per year, annual retention bonus of $25k, plus various incentives. The buyout is $3mil if he leaves before 12/1/22.

UNCC was choosing between FCS head coaches that hadnt proved they could recruit or win at the FBS level. There's nothing wrong with that because most of us go that route or a P5 OC/DC with no head coaching at the G5

That was a joke just to poke at all you salty boys. Willie had a damn grill when he was a super young assistant here under Harbaugh. Long before he ever went to Stanford to join young Harbaugh. I was told from a friend that someone told him not to wear his grill when he flew out to interview with Jim Harbaugh for Stanford position. Jesus that must have been 10-12 years ago.

Well he did win the I-4 Bowl in 2015 and 2016 pounding the UCF assses.

I think WT can win in this conference for two more years with Robison. The real test is what happens in year THREE.

He will be able to recruit like no one else in cusa. But unless he lets other people run his offense I see mediocre results.

I wouldn't judge WT by his performance at FSU. Jimbo's last year there seemed to be a train wreck. FSU has issues beyond the HC position.

Traveled 3 hours to Ohio State. Equivalent of them traveling to Tampa for a bowl game in scenario I laid out

Plus I support local teams by me. Which is all they'd have to do being closer to our college

I called them our for not going to all games. Not just a bowl game. Mentioned the bad home attendance at a cusa title game many times

When I asked what's the excuse for not going to home games then , you avoided it

Way to skip over everything I just said. I've gone to many local games like they could. And I've made a long and driveable trip for games already this year

I didn't call them out just for the bowl game. Maybe a mouth breather like you needs that repeated a lot to get it

How's he doing? I assume great. He's 22-4 over 2 seasons with a conference title and has a true freshman QB who just threw for 3,400 yards and 28 TDs.
