To make matters even worse, Rice sponsored and encouraged a major BLM rally on campus on Friday that was led by football players. Just sick.

Are you saying that players are not allowed to congregate for football practice, which provides their scholarship to attend Rice, but can congregate to protest? Wow. Rice donors and fans, along with fans of programs that have Rice on your schedule, should be lighting up Joe Karlgaard's phone and email.

The indifference and complete hostility toward Rice athletics from administration and faculty has taken a deathgrip onto the throat of athletics. I'm embarteased. The handling of this has been dismal. I have
always been a proud Rice fan, but these decisions have turned me upside down. I'm beside myself. We've been playing football for 106 years..

The Athletic Director has no say in this. It's the President and the admin who are a bunch of idiots.
