Thank heavens no but there is an Owl Sanctuary near the stadium that has been making a comeback since the last Marshall home game but they're probably toast come Saturday.
Who?

Good to know the owl sanctuary is there. Saves me from bringing pork for the BBQ.

You’re going to have to catch a bunch of those little suckers, I can barely make a sandwich out of one.

Louisiana and App are the Sun Belt Flagships...
Until someone comes in and wins a Conference Championship game that isn't App, or plays in the game that isn't App or Louisiana, it's those programs.
The flagship doesn't mean the team that wins a title. Just the most recognizable brand. And that would instantly be Marshall

clt says FAU should be ok. That is a long trip south for the marshal fans in 90’s era pickups.
Gas prices are too high for them to head south.

This game is on Facebook Live right? I'll be pulling for Marshall to score the upset.
While UTSA and UTEP were bumped to ESPN2? That's big for C-USA.

Of course, Marshall is frequently good for one (or two?) of those WTF losses. In general, outside of that game, Marshall has had mostly good efforts. FAU, on the other hand, despite having better talent (in my opinion), has rarely put complete efforts together. So, I fully understand Marshall being slight favorites for this game. I still think FAU should win, but I am not very confident about it.
Better talent because of recruiting rankings or on the field?

I believe we have better talent in the skill positions but Marshall always owns the line and that has been the problem.

So, the conference has two great match ups this week end with championship ramifications, and one of those is on Facebook. I hope no one is really wondering why the big exodus from CUSA to, well, anywhere else.

Because of the talent recruited and talent transferred in. Given that Marshall owns a 7-1 edge against us, what you do with the talent is a different proposition.

SPEAKING of SHINNING, Wells should be good for another 3 picks maybe even a fumble. You've heard of QB of the future, Wells is a QB of the past, his best games are mostly behind him, UNLESS it's an FCS team or a really bad FBS team.
