I saw your comment that y’all wouldn’t win, but what was the basis of concern? Was it just for yesterday or are you going to have more issues down the home stretch?
UTSA has been playing some top notch football this season.
Here's a list for the reasons I was concerned...
1) We struggled against USM last year when we really shouldn't have.
2) We struggled at home against a 2-8 UNLV team we were heavily favored against.
3) We were ranked in the CFP for the first time ever in our short history, and though we have a senior-laden team, those seniors had never been ranked before in their collegiate history, so it remained to be seen how they'd handle it.
4) We also have a young coaching staff, and Coach Traylor himself admitted publicly in a couple interviews earlier in the week that though it went against his coaching mantra to say it, being ranked was surreal (though he didn't exactly use that word specifically). Nonetheless, though he has always preached to "not eat the cheese", it sounded as though he took just a nibble of it himself.
The fifth reason I had such a negative feeling is a longer read, but you asked for it...lol...
5) The whole day for me was a disaster from the start, as I have to drive for 3 hours from Houston to go to all the games. We (wife, daughter, and I) got a late start, and didn't get there until about 30 minutes before kickoff. We have a parking pass to an Alamodome lot, but the whole street was already cut off by the police by the time we got there, so we couldn't even park in a spot we had paid for since year one of our football program. Apparently, though we had a pass, all the parking spots were used.
As a result, we had to park in the River Center Mall parking garage across the highway at the RiverWalk (and pay for that spot btw), and make our way to the stadium, which is a decent walk for a 75-year-old woman who, as it turned out, had pulled her hamstring the day before. That woman is my mother, whom we stopped to pick up in San Antonio on the way, as she joins us for the games. She didn't tell us until after that she had pulled her hammy, and while she predictably walks slow at her age, it was even slower than normal and she had to stop at least 3 times to rest for a minute.
Turns out we didn't make the kickoff, and weren't in our seats until a few minutes into the game. Oh, and by the way, we also have Hospitality Access with our tickets, meaning we can go to the upper level of the dome for free food and drinks prior to every game. Needless to say, we couldn't take advantage of that either. So the whole day, before we even sat and started watching, just had a very negative vibe to it.

That’s because you say you are concerned about every game.
Being concerned about every game is one of my few good qualities.
