Well, at least for many fans, this tit-for-tat feud will add interest to CUSA vs. SBC games. Might even help attendance a little for some schools. That's a good thing. And I suspect that this "rivalry" between the leagues will make for heightened Internet board activity too.

For the SB3, as I have posted before, there is not any feeling of "loss" for the departure of Marshall and ODU. Not because I (most Tech fans) don't respect those schools, just that there has not been enough time to develop a "heart-felt" rivalry. The only regret is the loss of USM. Don't like dem fellows in H'burg...but respect the hell out of 'em, and they will be missed as a conference rival.

Then, this time next year, we'll be going through this again, with the departure of the AAC6.
