Over 10k tickets sold. Sellout getting closer. Hope the game is as good as the crowd.

Your Miners are more battle tested than my Aggies, so I have my concerns.

Same with me. I have no idea how our guys will look against stiffer competition. We haven’t really been challenged on offense too much in the first game and exhibition and looked decent but not great. Defense does worry me until I see some real games. Hoping for a good one. NMSU/UTEP usually is just that, just hope we can steal a win.

Toledo is a really good team. I expect to see the in the ncaa tournament in March.

But uab shat themselves tonight. On pace to lose by 30 in the 2nd half. The conference is wide open.

I said we could take 1, maybe 2 losses OOC and still have an at large chance. I still think it is possible. We have a lot to work on, but we played a pretty good first half, and we have enough talent on this team to make it work. How quickly we can get there is the question. We should win six games in a row before the WVU and South Carolina games are back to back. If we drop 1 of those next 6, we are in trouble.

Miner fans will the UTEP/NMSU game be on the CUSA TV streaming service? I didn’t even think til now that I still hadn’t seen a link stating where to watch if out of state.

WKU does what they are supposed to do and takes care of Kentucky State 127-61. Tops hit 19 of 29 from deep range. Frampton has started the season on a tear for WKU. He is 11/13 from three point range through the first 2 games.

127 points is the 4th highest scoring game in CUSA annals. The record is 134 points.

Frampton comes alive.

UTEP holds on for a 67-64 win over NMSU. Nice crowd of over 11k made it fun. Good game Aggies. See you at your place on the 30th.

This Aggie team is still working out chemistry issues. Twenty turnovers in just too many if we want to win these types of games on road. Besides the November 30th game, we might get one more shot at your Miners in the DHC, possibly on December 22nd.

Yeah, with the transfer rules, fans need to get used to seeing brand new teams each year and it does take time for so many new players to gel. Of UTEP's 13 scholarship players, 10 are new. That's just ridiculous but it is just the way things are.

Congrats on the win last night Miner fans. Your team defense is formidable and you got some bangers offensively. Tough, athletic team. Hope we can pay you back in Cruces. And omg the traveling calls. Both teams looked stunned in that 2-3 minute stretch of non-stop traveling violations.

13-7 for CUSA on the week. I tried, but didn't come through with a very good record.

Someone else can try next week to do a better job.

Some missed opportunities this week. Especially from UAB and UNT, two of our better teams. I don't know why we cant get over this OOC hump.
