RE: CUSA 4.0 “Brand Refresh”
"Brand Refresh" ... Those two words stuck out to me as well.

Obviously, some ads that highlight the 4.0 membership will be part of the new campaign. Casual fans need to know who all the teams are, especially given the extreme change CUSA has gone through in two short years. (Even fans from schools who've been members for years will be confused by it all, if they haven't been paying attention.)

Any thoughts what else the "brand refresh" will consist of? A fresh new logo? A snappy new motto?

I think you covered it.

The have to introduce the new schools (to everyone) and the new total line-up to basically everyone that isn't a conference realignment hard-core.

Maybe it’ll be like the old CUSA but with refreshing citrus taste and half the calories.

The logo color scheme looks different--- letters in all white print. Could be wrong.

New conference name. That's it.

Since we will have 10 in 2024 when KSU joins we will be known as the Big 10. Big is a very popular descriptor in conference names. And geographically speaking, we are big.

Considering NMSU and the new members are having to put the CUSA logo on everything, I hope they got an advanced copy of any new logos CUSA may introduce.

They did use all white but I have seen that before. I think there will be a slight change to the logo. I’m curious to see what all that’s about though.

Amen. This should be Priority #1. But our bureaucrat university presidents collectively do not care; they just want 'easy'.

It would be refreshing to have a new scapegoat everyone can blame for everything.

It's not just the conference commissioner. The university presidents are the ones keeping her in her position.
Keep doing what you are doing and you'll keep getting what you're getting. But believe what you wish.

So... changing commissioners while keeping the same university presidents will result in...?

I've been a Blue Raider for a little over twenty years and there's never been a time that the conference commissioner wasn't the subject of constant derision.

Isn’t like half the Sun Belt former FCS Schools? LMAO! The Sun Belt kind of reminds me of the MAC. Complacent. They’re sort of okay with being the 3rd or 4th best team in their own state.

You’re spot on. Judy didn’t just walk into her job. Someone hired her and that someone was the conference presidents. She keeps her job because as you said , she’s allowed to keep it. I’m sure the presidents are more than happy to have Judy as their scapegoat. She may be the one solely responsible for bad decisions, but if so, she has been given the thumbs up to carry those decisions out. Great point about continuing doing the same thing. Isn’t the definition of insanity doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results? If the presidents aren’t willing to hold the commissioner accountable, then it probably doesn’t matter who the commissioner is.
