Temple has never capitalized on their location. It is solid gold. Temple, however, seems to prefer aluminum.
They are behind the times (aluminum used to be worth more than gold).

With the SDSU/MWC hiccup, seems like SMU is the easy call-up if just Colorado leaves. I think SDSU still could join on reduced payout in order for the Pac to cover the exit fees of the MWC. They will still probably make 3x as much as they do in the MWC. The problem becomes if the Pac needs to add multiple teams. No way they can cover 3 MWC teams.
