RE: Rank The AAC After Week 4
Funny thing happened on my way to work this morning, I had an epiphany to watch out for Charlotte when they begin conference play.

Just thought I'd share that.

Rank The AAC After Week 4
I was worried that I was hallucinating when I saw Rice in the top half of the conference in the first two lists.

Then I saw they both got Tulsa in the top half and realized 8 wasn’t the one hallucinating.

1.Tulane
2.Rice

Rice is clearly in the bottom half.

I only ranked teams that beat a P5 this calendar year tho.

Not sure how many teams in the AAC actually have a pulse.

ECU being dead last is absolutely correct. Without an offense that can score, I seriously doubt we will win any conference games.

The entire conference is bad this season. There's no other way to call it. I'm seeing Rice at #5 or #6 on some of these rankings, and Rice is terrible. We have no talent.

There are three average teams... Tulane, Memphis and SMU.

To me, Memphis is the biggest letdown. They actually have talent, but it's poorly coached.

Thoughts. Relax people. Someone will step up and go on a run. We are not that bad.

Charlotte will win some games. Any team that can hold an SEC team to 22 points is OK by me.

If JT Daniels stays healthy the entire year, Rice will make a bowl game, and be in the top half of AAC.

Take heart ECU fans, it gets better. Find a QB somehow, someway. We seem to have done so with Byrum Brown. He appears to have the most talent of anyone we've had since Quinton Flowers.

SMU lost to two good teams. They are one of the teams that could go on a serious run.

UTSA needs Frank Harris in the worst way, otherwise their season is sunk.

Tulane still the class of league in my opinion. Memphis needs to step up and beat Boise by any means possible.

I didn't see that. You found a way to beat Houston. Daniels is a good QB, if he can stay healthy.

Where do you suppose we look in season? Because we don't have one on the roster.

Tulane is better than average, they lost to Ole Miss with their backup QB and even still hung in there and had a shot late. They are a good football team. Now other than them I agree I think Memphis and SMU are probably more average than good and think the rest of the league ranges from below average to awful.

Get one in the portal in the off season. You may have to suffer through a bad season. There will be high level QB's in the portal looking for homes. It took us a while to get Byrum Brown. Credit to the previous coaching staff for finding him.

After watching the first few games, QB is the tip of the iceberg, but gets the most attention because...QB.

Losing two solid starters on the O-line to Auburn and Oregon really hurt us. They can't protect at all, RBs can't find lanes, and our new kid at QB is shell-shocked out there.

On top of that, we've just got a ton of inexperience at WR. Lots of bad routes and drops.

I think we'll slowly get better through the year as our line starts to gel, but it's going to be a loooong year.
